Early Morning Fire

Parma fire companies handled a working garage fire on Pelham shortly after 5am today. Engine Co. 4 made the initial alarm with auto aid from Brooklyn Hts. The normal first due companies were responding to a fire alarm on W130th that came in just prior to the Pelham call. Engine Co. 2 and Ladder 3 were cleared from the fire alarm and responded once the situation on W 130 was determined.

Heavy snow and an icy road from a water main break took Med 5 out of service for about an hour this morning. Another Med unit was dispatched to the medical emergency and Med 5 was pulled out by Rescue 3's Winch.
