2016 saw another significant increase in emergency incidences that PFD members responded to last year.
The Parma Fire Department was called to attached garage fire in the 1000 block of Vicksburg Dr. at approximately 2:00 Saturday afternoon by an off duty Fire Captain. Captain Matt Garan was on his way to the grocery store when he spotted the fire. Fire Company’s from Parma, Seven Hills, and Broadveiw Hts arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the fire.
Tuesday evening storms had all PFD companies out on fire alarms, downed power lines, medical emergencies, and fallen trees.
