Friday, June 20, 2014 at 03:15PM Member of the Parma Fire Department just completed 3 days of hands on ladder operations class using Parma High School grounds. This class was preceeded with classroom sessions eariler in the month. Instructors FF Just and FF Tellalian.

Fire Fighters form the department SERT Team recently attended training at Bowling Green State Fire Academy and Richfied Crane Operating Engineers.
Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:45AM Parma Fire Companies have responded to two working house fires since 4:30 this morning.
The first was on Abraham and Engine Companies 1, 2, 5, ladder 3 and Brooklyn Fire responded. Moderate damage was done to the interior of the home.
The second: Engine Co. 1,2,5 and Rescue 3 responded to a reported house fire on Pinegrove shortly after 9am. Engine 1 arrived and reported a fire at the rear of the house. Engine 1 quickly knocked it down. The siding was removed to check for extension.
