Parma fire companies with the assistance of several other departments operated at an apartment fire in Building 3 of Midtown Apartments. The fire was contained to a 2nd floor apartment although smoke damage was reported on several floors. One person was transported to Metro Hospital.
Engine Co. 2 arrived to find flames shooting out of a second floor apartment.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The American Red Cross is on scene to assist with residents housing needs.
